Global Health Film and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine are delighted to announce a new partnership to deliver virtual global health film screenings and expert panel discussions through the year. The second installment of this series will start at 17.15 on Thursday 11 March with the film “Seeds of Hope”.

is a 72-minute feature documentary filmed and made by Fiona Lloyd-Davies. The documentary follows the story of Masika Katsuva. Masika Katsuva puts herself at risk every day to help thousands of Congolese rape survivors embark on a journey of healing, as they live and work together as a community. Since the outbreak of the civil war which has torn Congo apart, rape has become commonplace and is used as a weapon of war.

At Masika’s centre, a community of rape survivors try to rebuild their lives and support each other.
