Your registration
All distance learning students are registered with both LSHTM and the University of London. This dual registration does not affect the qualification you receive at the end of your programme – you will still receive a University of London award just as our face-to-face students do – but the certificate will reflect that you are a student of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and University of London.
After you receive your offer
Once you have received your official offer, you will be given access to the University of London Student Portal. From the Portal, you will be able to register for your programme and modules, pay fees for programmes and modules you are taking and update your personal details.
Paying your fees
Information about paying your registration and programme fees can be found on the .
If you are taking the PG Certificate, PG Diploma or MSc you can either pay the initial registration and full programme fee, or the initial registration fee and the fees for modules you intend to study during that year. It is not possible to pay and register for modules throughout the study year.
After you register
Once registration is confirmed, and from the beginning of October, you will be able to access the virtual learning environment Moodle, LSHTM’s Library, Archive & Open Research Service resources and the Assignment Management System. In addition, you will be issued with a University of London student email account.
