Our staff collaborate with Latin American institutions across a range of disciplines, themes and countries. We have particularly strong historical links with Brazil, reinforced by our work on the Zika epidemic, when School staff led a number of significant projects looking at Zika infection in pregnancy, routes of transmission, the potential global spread of the virus and ways to stop it.
