In collaboration with MARCH, the inaugural CHiPH film series event of 2019 is a documentary on changing conversations on sex and relationships across three generations in southern Ecuador. The film “Tres Generaciones” grew out of research using an oral historical and participatory ethnographic approach to understanding communication on sex and sexuality in the semi-rural parish of Chiquintad. It shows how an understanding of recent historical change can be of value in contemporary health research interventions.
