Dr Laxminarayan is a unique figure in the global AMR community. Approaching the AMR crisis as a problem of managing a shared global resource, his work spans research, public engagement and public health policy development and considers the economic, health and environmental aspects of the issue. In this keynote lecture, Laxminarayan will present his unique perspective on the current state of the world's antibiotics.
Speaker
is the founder and director of the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics and Policy in Washington D.C and New Delhi, and a senior research scholar at Princeton University. Since 1995, Laxminarayan has worked to improve the understanding of antibiotic resistance as a problem of managing a shared global resource.
