Integrating interdisciplinary approaches to tackle antimicrobial drug resistance in tuberculosis
This seminar will highlight the alarming nature of antimicrobial drug resistance in tuberculosis and challenges in tackling different physiological states of the bacteria that cause the disease. The lecture will address some key research findings on the propsect of repurposing non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to reverse extensive drug resistance in tuberculosis.
