Doubly robust data-adaptive inference: Talk 1
Part of a series of three one-hour talks, running over three consecutive Thursdays. This is talk 1 of 3.
This is targeted at statisticians and econometricians interested in using data-adaptive methods for estimation, while being able to obtain valid inferences, which are robust to certain types of model mis-specification. The talks are somewhat technical, but we will also be aiming to give a flavour of this rapidly evolving research area.
Speaker: Oliver Dukes, Post-doctoral Fellow, Ghent University
Oliver completed his PhD in Biostatistics at the Ghent University in 2019, under the supervision of Prof Stijn Vansteelandt. His work focuses on data-adaptive estimators for causal inference.
