I am a medical doctor from Ethiopia currently studying for MSc Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy and Programming. Additionally, I utilize my skills as a part-time medical TV show host and content creator to translate complex medical information into engaging and impactful media formats.
Research interests or career goals
I want to apply the knowledge and skills gained from the MSc to empower and advocate for adolescents to make informed and healthy decisions about their sexual and reproductive health through comprehensive education, engaging content and inspiring leadership.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
During my medical practice and media role I observed there is a lot of work to be done on sexual and reproductive health in my country. As one of the best public health schools in the world, LSHTM offers a unique and rigorous education making it an obvious choice for anyone who wants to have a big impact on sexual and reproductive health.
