I moved to London for University in 2017 and have loved living here ever since!
I previously studied at King's College London, and I have 2 Bachelor's degrees in Regenerative Medicine and Innovation Technology, and Dental Studies.
I have some experience assisting with local-level health programmes, such as wellbeing projects for a GP practice network in Tower Hamlets, and working on COVID and Monkeypox vaccination clinics at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in South London.
I spent two years part-time completing my MSc Public Health before I started my research degree as part of the MRC London Intercollegiate Doctoral Training.
Research interests/career goals
I am quite new to the field of public health and currently every aspect seems interesting to me! Hopefully during my time at LSHTM I will be able to define and narrow down my research interests a bit more. I am currently most interested in mental health, planetary health and social epidemiology.
Why I chose LSHTM
There are so many opportunities to learn, network and become part of wider communities at LSHTM, and you feel that the work you get involved in can really make a difference.
