Contact Peyton BadgerEducational/professional background
I graduated from The College of Idaho with a BA in Biomedical Science. I spent much of my time throughout my undergraduate education working as a Chemistry Laboratory Assistant. However, I also pursued various roles working with nonprofit organizations in my local community. After graduating, I spent a gap year working as an au pair in France before deciding that Public Health was the right path for me.
Research interests or career goals
I am particularly interested in women’s, children’s, and mental health issues, with a focus on global health equity. I am excited to consider various career paths that my Masters degree could lead me towards, including research, policy, and international NGO opportunities.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I knew that by by attending LSHTM, not only would I be obtaining a world-class interdisciplinary Public Health education, but I would also have the opportunity to surround myself with a truly amazing community of diverse peers from all around the world. I was specifically drawn to the MSc Public Health program because of how many different options and pathways it would give me to explore during my short time here.

I am happy to chat and answer any questions you may have, including those outside of academics, such as the process of moving to London.
