Educational/professional background

I am a gastrointestinal surgeon and a researcher. I have worked in university hospitals, public hospitals, and private hospitals. For over four years, I conducted basic science research at Johns Hopkins University in the USA. 

Research interests or career goals

This MSc Public Health by Distance Learning is already exposing me to new areas of interest and allowing me to develop my future goals. In the future, I plan to integrate clinical practice with health programme planning and advocacy, particularly in areas of conflict or crisis.

Why I chose LSHTM/my programme

First of all, LSHTM is one of the top world-class universities and the curriculums and reliability seemed very intriguing. A sophisticated distance learning system and relatively reasonable fee were also important. The diversity of students is good for me because I want to know various opinions.
