Educational/professional background
Currently, I am studying for an MSc Public Health at LSHTM. I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2023 with an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology. At Liverpool, I investigated the covalent binding of drugs to model human proteins and Vancomycin-induced nephrotoxicity in children. After graduating, I worked in NHS administration at a busy tertiary hospital for a year alongside travelling.
Research interests or career goals
My main interests lie in sexual, reproductive and women鈥檚 health. I am also interested in the history of Public Health. In particular, the history of reproductive rights in the UK and abroad. Post-graduating from LSHTM I plan on undertaking a PhD in Women鈥檚 Health.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM due to its excellent academic reputation worldwide, which attracts individuals from all different backgrounds. The opportunities to connect and collaborate with so many people and attend lectures on the world-leading research conducted at the school are really special! I chose my programme because of the breadth of different opportunities available, from modules in epidemiology to history there is something for everyone!
