Research interests or career goals
My research interests lie in climate change, infectious diseases, medical education, mental health, and health systems strengthening. I am deeply committed to advancing climate change and planetary health initiatives by establishing a centre of excellence in Uganda. My mission is to leverage research expertise and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote sustainable health, foster equity, and empower vulnerable communities for a more resilient and inclusive society.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose the LSHTM because it is a globally recognized centre of excellence in research and public health. Its commitment to addressing global challenges aligns with my passion for creating sustainable health systems. Specifically, I selected the MSc Climate Change and Planetary Health program to integrate my nursing background with a deeper focus on tackling health issues at their root causes. This program equips me to shift from treating health problems to addressing the environmental, social, and economic factors that contribute to them, ultimately driving impactful preventive solutions.
