I am currently in the MSc Public Health program. From Nigeria. Before this, I studied Medicine in Sudan after which I have been practicing as a Doctor in Nigeria.
Research interests or career goals
I have an interest in Medical education and health inequalities.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
Like many of my colleagues in this program, I chose to study public health because I wanted the opportunity to be a decision maker in the field of health in my community rather than to always feel as though my hands were tied and I could not do more for helpless people in my community. So after deciding that I wanted to explore this ambition of mine through public health, I thought of the best place to do this and of course LSHTM came to mind. Truly, there is no better place to study this course. The wealth of knowledge, the opportunity to learn from individuals who are leading research in their fields, and definitely the multicultural environment.
