In this seminar, Prof Ramjee from the Aurum Institute in South Africa, reflects on her work in addressing the HIV epidemic among women in South Africa. Decades of research show that despite numerous biomedical and behavioral interventions, high HIV infection rates are sustained over time. She will provide insights into some of the challenges in addressing the HIV epidemic among women in South Africa.
