​​Defeating Meningitis by 2030: Modelling to support WHO’s Roadmap​

​​Caroline Trotter is Professor of Global Health at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Vaccine Impact Modelling Consortium at Imperial College.

In this talk, Professor Caroline Trotter will discuss the use of modelling to inform decision-making on vaccine policy and epidemic response.​ This seminar is part of a regular series of interest to mathematical and statistical modellers, and infectious disease epidemiologists.​

​​Caroline Trotter is Professor of Global Health at the University of Cambridge and Director of the Vaccine Impact Modelling Consortium at Imperial College.​She completed a MSc and PhD in infectious disease epidemiology at LSHTM. Caroline researches the epidemiology and control of a range of vaccine-preventable diseases, concentrating on bacterial meningitis. She is a member of the WHO Technical Taskforce for the Defeating Meningitis by 2030 roadmap, contributing her expertise on epidemiological analysis and modelling.
