Research
Much of my research was based on making better use of computerised clinical data for research. I co-led the creation of the OpenSafely resource in response to the Covid pandemic and helped lead the creation of the 100 million cohort in Brazil. My broad interests include disease aetiology, drug effects, genetics, health and climate change, and non-communicable diseases in low income settings.
