Research

My research interests focus on the management of small and nutritionally vulnerable infants under 6 months, specifically examining child malnutrition and its relationship with non-communicable disease (NCD) risks in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). I aim to estimate the caseloads of acutely malnourished infants using various indicators, investigate regional risk factors, and explore the mechanistic links between infant malnutrition and later-life NCDs. By leveraging diverse datasets, including Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) and UNICEF Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS), my work seeks to provide valuable insights into infant health and nutrition.
