Mrs Helen Gray

Research Student - MPhil/PhD - Epidemiology & Population Health

United Kingdom

I am the Joint Coordinator of the UK team for the World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative (WBTi) project. The project monitors UK policies and programmes on infant feeding against the recommendations of the WHO Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding. Alongside this role, I am a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and have had active leadership roles in advocacy for better support and protection of families with infants. I am now combining my clinical background with policy research in planning for the care of infants and young children in emergencies in the UK.
