I am a Research Fellow in the Environmental Health Group with a focus on evaluations of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions, adolescent health and applied statistics. I coordinated a large-scale cluster-randomised trial in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia evaluating the impact of WASH in schools on child health and education (WISE Evaluation). I have also conducted several systematic reviews exploring the impacts of improved WASH in low- and middle-income settings.
I completed my MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases at the School, and am currently a PhD candidate examining the design and analysis of cluster-randomised trials in the school setting around the world.
