I acquired my bachelor's (B.A.) and master's (MPhil) degrees in Population and Health at the Department of Population and Health, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. After my bachelor’s degree, I worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Population and Health for a year. While at it, I doubled as a volunteer for the Centre for Gender Research, Advocacy and Documentation (CEGRAD), University of Cape Coast. During the latter part of my MPhil program, I took up a temporary job at the National Population Council Secretariat, Central Region-Ghana, as an assistant to the Regional Coordinators. Currently, I am a recipient of the ESRC UBEL DTP studentship to pursue an MPhil/Ph.D. in Demography and Health. The studentship commenced in October 2020. As part of my Ph.D. program, I participated in the 2020 European Doctoral School of Demography and received training in Demography and Advanced Quantitative Methods.
