Photo request: Work in action

You, as our alumni, are doing amazing work, and we are so proud! We want to find out what you have been up to in 2021 and share this in our new ‘work in action’ series.

The LSHTM community have incredible and varied roles, and we want to highlight this. Whether you’ve been working at home, in an office, lab or the field, we want an insight into your day!

We are asking you to share images that describe your role or your day-to-day experiences. These will be shared on our social media pages, blog and potentially in our alumni magazine.

Send us images with your name, course and graduation year, current job title and a short caption describing the image to alumni@lshtm.ac.uk

Guidelines:

Entries must be in a JPEG format and emailed to alumni@lshtm.ac.uk with “Work in action” in the subject line.

In the email, please include your full name, the date the photograph was taken, course studied at our School and year you graduated, an up-to-date phone number, and your current job position and organisation (only your full name, course studied, job title and year graduated will be made public).

Please provide a caption for your photos – this will be included with the images, and the caption may be edited.

If identifiable individuals appear in your photo, please ensure that you have their permission before submission. The owner may be asked to provide written consent of any identifiable individuals granting us permission to use the photograph in the Alumni magazine, in other print and digital publications, and on social media.

Entries may appear on the School’s photo library which is accessible to School staff and students, and the Alumni Flickr page, which is open to the public.

Entries may be selected to appear on our School’s website and social media platforms, which are open to the public.

Entries may be used for promotional purposes, e.g. the School website, social media, annual report, chariot (internal and external e-newsletters), prospectus, exhibitions, postcards, etc.

Copyright – by sending an image, competitors warrant that they own the copyright to their photograph, and they give consent to the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine to store the image and reproduce it in any School-related publication or medium.
